The Divine Nine Collection — Burn.Syndicate

Every collection has an origin story. Mine starts with a t-shirt. I couldn't have been more than seven or eight, watching my dad get dressed for some event, and he pulled on a shirt that read "My Dad's an Omega Psi Phi." I didn't know what that meant yet, not really. I didn't know about the letters, the history, the brotherhood, or the weight those four Greek characters carried for the men who wore them. But I knew what it felt like to watch my father wear something with that much pride stitched into it. I knew it meant something bigger than both of us.That memory never left me.

My dad has spent my entire life showing up, as my first champion, my loudest supporter, the person who taught me what it looks like to build something with integrity and carry it with pride. Everything I know about perseverance, I learned by watching him. So when I sat down to build this brand, I knew that somewhere in it, I needed to honor him. Not as an afterthought, but as the foundation.

That's what the Divine 9 Collection is. It's not just a product line, it's a love letter, built in tile and grout instead of words. Every mosaic mini is hand-finished in the colors of the organizations that have defined Black excellence, brotherhood, and sisterhood for over a century. And it starts, fittingly, with Omega Psi Phi, the letters on my father's shirt, now inlaid in gold on a piece I made with my own hands.

This collection exists because he existed first. Because a little girl watched her father put on a shirt with pride, and grew up to build something that could hold that same pride for other families, other daughters, other sons,  anyone who's ever loved someone wearing the letters.

This one's for my dad. Every piece after it is for everyone else who understands why.
